US Performing Arts...Where Dreams Are Trained!

I've been thinking a lot lately about the fulfillment of dreams. You see, I am a dreamer. Anyone who really knows me knows that to be true of me. I see the world through the visions in my mind. Therefor, I cherish dreams. My dreams and your dreams. In fact, I encourage you to dream. BIG dreams and don't let anyone trample them!

Twelve years ago my partner and I co-founded US Performing Arts to facilitate and promote the dreams of emerging young artists in entertainment. You see, he's a dreamer too. In fact sometimes his dreams are so big I can't even comprehend them but I believe in them. Just as I believe in yours.

Getting back to my thoughts on the fulfillment of those dreams, I've had lots of years to watch people succeed. I've come to realize that those who really succeed are those who learn to believe in themselves and don't give up. Sometimes the dream is modified. Sometimes the dreamer needs to have a bigger vision. Mostly the dreamer needs someone who inspires and motivates them. They also need someone to guide them. UCLA - Acting Conservatory
"Inspiring", "Life-changing", "A game-changer", "Where dreams begin to become a reality." Those are just some of statements heard after the Acting Conservatory work in progress performance. H. Richard Greene leads a team of faculty so invested in their work that students come away with marked improvement in their work and deeply committed to the pursuit of their dream. This is a workshop for serious acting students who are interested in exploring their passion. A letter of recommendation from a teacher or director is required.

Emmy Award Winning Television Director Mary Lou Belli and Actor Charles Dougherty at Pepperdine, Stanford and UMass in 2012!

Mary Lou Belli and Charlie Dougherty were recent guest artists at the Missouri State Thespian Festival giving students a slight taste of what's in store for them this summer in USPA's intensive one week Acting for the Camera workshops. Mary Lou Belli is currently directing two television series and Charlie Dougherty can be seen in television dramatic roles as well as television commercials. Come join them in one or more weeks and take home a reel of your work to show others how ready you are to live your dream.

     
 

Musical Theater
UCLA - Musical Theater Conservatory
FAME - The Musical will be the center point of three weeks of training and rehearsal at the UCLA Arts Camp/Workshops Musical Theater Conservatory this summer. UCLA’s School of Theater, Film & Television adjunct faculty, Director Kay Cole and Musical Director Steven Kaminski, will be joined by other TFT faculty to teach, coach and rehearse the production which will be presented as a work in progress on Saturday, July 14th. By audition only, this intensive workshop is filled with the "stuff dreams are made of."
